21 weeks!

I have been so blessed with such a great pregnancy! These 21 weeks have flown by, and we can't wait to meet our sweet baby girl! Here is my 21 week picture and updates and Blakeley's bedding in her crib!

How far along? 21 weeks
Total weight gain: Had my doctor's appointment this morning...a total of...14 lbs! I consider that pretty good, though...I think.

Maternity clothes? umm, yes!

Stretch marks? answer is still no :)

Sleep: it's ok...I still wake up a lot at night tossing and turning

Best moment this week: Seeing Blakeley on the big screen this morning!

Miss anything? same ole thing...sleeping all through the night

Movement: Yes, A LOT! She is so active! Maybe she will be a cheerleader like her momma :)

Food cravings: pretty much anything I see :/

Gender: confirmed today...still a sweet GIRL!

Labor signs: nope
Belly button in or out? still making its way out

Wedding rings on or off? on..but snug.
Happy or moody most of the time? very happy!!
Looking forward to: working more on her nursery!

HALFWAY there...and a new room!

Can you believe it? I have made it HALFWAY! This has been hard since I'm the most impatient person in the whole world! But, it has seemed to go by quickly and she needs to keep baking in my belly so I can wait 20 more weeks for that :)

This has been a big weekend! We painted her room (and it looks fabulous!) and her bed is ordered and will be here tomorrow!....I'm one excited momma! :)

How far along? 20 weeks
Total weight gain: I weighed last night at my in-laws house and it looks like 11 lbs. (doctor appt. is next Tuesday so I will know for sure then)
Maternity clothes? maternity pants are a must, but I'm still fitting into most of my regular shirts and I wear maternity shirts a lot.
Stretch marks? still no...(thank you, Jesus!)
Sleep: still going good, but it gets so hot!
Best moment this week: painting her room and ordering her crib!
Miss anything? sleeping on my stomach, feta cheese, hot dogs, and my list of foods could go on and on...
Movement: LOTS of it! and it seems like the already has her days and night right...starts moving when I get up and when it's time to go to bed, she settles down...so sweet!
Food cravings: my new obsession is Strawberry frozen Fruit Bars
Gender: Girl!..and let's hope it still that way next week!
Labor signs: nope
Belly button in or out? I think it's making its way out...
Wedding rings on or off? on
Happy or moody most of the time? very happy!!
Looking forward to: putting her crib together tomorrow...and, it would be my doctors appt tomorrow but they called Monday morning and now it's next Tuesday :(

Nursery Inspiration...

Month 5 starts next week, and I can't believe we are halfway through this journey to meet out little girl. Time has definitely flown by, but I have enjoyed being pregnant (well, after the morning sicknesss ended, at least). This weekend start our nursey project. Friday night her room will be painted. As I told in the last post, we are painting it Industrial Gray by Glidden. I am so super excited BECAUSE....once the room is painted, her bed can be ordered and her bedding (which is already here) can we washed and put in her crib.

I have a huge addiction with Pinterest, and everything that is on there. I hope I can at least make/find/buy half of the stuff I have pinned! But, with that being said, there is so much inspiration on there for Blakeley's nursery...here are a few pictures of what I want to do in her room.

Week 19

How far along? 19 weeks
Total weight gain: not sure...anxious about going to the doctor next Thursday and finding out!
Maternity clothes? still squeezing into pre-maternity clothes when I can
Stretch marks? nope...rubbing that lotion on every single day/night
Sleep: still going good
Best moment this week: actually SEEING a kick from the outside...freaky/amazing! and ordering her bedding!
Miss anything? although sleep is great...sleeping on my stomach
Movement: LOTS of it!..when she starts, I want someone else to feel...but of course, she stops! stubborn already...
Food cravings: anything I can find...(I'm really disappointed that I left my Girl Scout cookies at home today)Anything make you sick or queasy? not much...

As July is fastly approaching, we have GOT to get started on her room. So, this weekend we will be painting her sweet room and I'm SO excited! We are going to be using Glidden 2+1 Primer + Paint in Industrial Gray (Satin Finish). I can't wait to see how it turns out. Also, a picture below is a picture of her bedding that will be here Friday and her bed that will be ordered as soon as the room is painted!

Can't wait for her sweet little self to be sleeping in there :)

18 weeks...

How far along? 18 weeks
Total weight gain: still around 10-11, I think...find out in a couple of weeks (or I should really just invest in a some scales)
Maternity clothes? Still some regular shirts and maternity shirts, but definitely maternity pants!
Stretch marks? still none...and hope never!
Sleep: amazing!
Best moment this week: finding more sweet clothes for her :)
Miss anything? my answer will always be the foods I can't have..AND, sleeping on my stomach!!

Way late...

I've been meaning to start this blog since about...oh, 13 weeks ago! I always knew that as soon as I got pregnant, I would want to start a blog about the whole journey. Well, here I am now at almost week 18 and I'm just now starting. Better late than never, right? :) These post will probably be all all over the place since I'm not a true blogger...just all my thoughts as we go on this crazy ride for the next 5 months.

This pregnancy has been somewhat of a love/hate relationship! The beginning was absolutely awful...being sick every.single.morning for weeks was no fun at all, now I'm in the stage of enjoying every single moment and actually enjoying it!...I'm sure the farther along I get, I will be at the hate part again...but we'll see.

Although I haven't been blogging my pregnancy, I have been good about taking weekly belly pictures. I started that around week 14 with a chalkboard idea I found on Pinterest, which in turn I found a blog, that I now follow. She has had the most amazing blog and it's been so fun to read all her post that she has had her whole pregnancy. If you want to read her blog, it is http://www.littlebabygarvin.blogspot.com/.

For those of you who don't know (and I'm sure you don't because most people that do know, will probably never read this blog), we're having a sweet baby GIRL! Her name will be Blakeley Kate Brown and she is due to come into this crazy world on July 9, 2012! We could not be more excited to meet her! (I will blog on our gender revel party that we had last Saturday, along with lots of pictures!)

For now, I will leave you with my 17 week picture and some updates on what's going on and add my weekly pictures before now!

How far along? 17 weeks
Total weight gain: at last appt. on 01.12.2012 I was up 5 lbs. (130)..I'm thinking I've now gained around 10 total!
Maternity clothes? Absolutely...can still fit into one pair of regular jeans with the ponytail holder trick...but I'm all for some comfy maternity clothes and leggings!
Stretch marks? None yet...and I hope I NEVER have to say yes to this question...
Sleep: is absolutely wonderful...until I wake up and I feel like I could sleep for 10 more hours...
Best moment this week: is feeling her move a lot more!
Miss anything? YES!, hotdogs, deli meat, feta cheese...pretty much anything I can't have while pregnant!
Movement: LOTS of it!
Food cravings: nothing really that I'm craving but I could eat chips and dip/salsa for days...
Anything make you sick or queasy? the smell of ground beef cooking...YUCK! I've just now been able to eat it on occassion
Gender: Girl!
Labor signs: nada..and don't want to for a while!
Belly button in or out? f.l.a.t.
Wedding rings on or off? on
Happy or moody most of the time? both...happy but can cry at the drop of a hat...(or when my husband doesn't offer me a snickers bar when he gets one)
Looking forward to: SEEING her move from the outside, hubby being about to feel her kick, & our 20 week appointment in 3 weeks!
